Today, the AZ Senate passed Senate Bill 1243 with no amentments and Senate Bill 1113 with only the NRA backed amendment. Two hostile amendments were defeated thanks to the help of our strong supporters in the Senate.
But, let's not forget to thank all of the citizens who called and lobbied these Senators. Trust me, the Senators did NOT come to the decision on their own...
I was informed (per his secretary) that our representative, Senator Alvarez, WAS TAKING A POLL of the calls coming in...
This CLEARLY SHOWS the need to stay vigilant and sit on these politicians to make sure they REPRESENT US and NOT their own ideas!
